Sørlige Nordsjø II

Vattenfall and Seagust have invested considerable time and capital in developing our technical concept for Sørlige Nordsjø II, and we believe we have a solid foundation in place for the project. However,  due to a combination of factors in late 2023, including macroeconomic conditions such as increased supplier costs and an uncertain energy price, as well as the structure and framework of the proposed contract for difference, the partners have decided to focus all our resources on developing the best possible project and application for Utsira Nord.

However, should there be substantial changes to the framework for Sørlige Nordsjø II, we may revisit this decision.
